Anna Rose, daughter of Jeremy and Patricia Rose, singlehandedly created a recycling container for plastic used in the school’s lunchroom. She collects plastic spoons, forks, straws, and water bottles and brings them home to her family’s recycling bin. According to Anna, “About 11.9 million pieces of plastic goes in landfills each and every day. That’s a lot!” Together with Earth Day and the school’s focus on caring for God’s creation, Anna has stepped up to her global citizenship!
